Risk Analysis Discussion Group |
The Risk Analysis Discussion Group (RADG) is focused on risk analysis, broadly defined to include risk assessment, risk characterization, risk communication, risk management, and policy relating to risk. RADG is designed for professionals in risk analysis, but people with a nonprofessional interest in these topics are welcome to join and participate, as long as their contributions are relevant. If you have already decided to join, read on. If not, click on the Preview tab above for more information about the list, including a link to a PDF with a sample of postings. Although the Society for Risk Analysis (https://sra.org) is not a sponsor of RADG, the interests of the members overlap.
The group operates by email through GNU Mailman 3.3, currently hosted by mailmanlists.net.
Joining the Group
To subscribe, send an email to radg-join@lists.radg.us. You needn't put anything in the Subject Line or the Message Box. You should shortly receive an email asking you to confirm your membership and then another to Welcome you. If you don't receive a confirmation email within a few minutes, it may have been caught in a spam filter somewhere. See above.
To post, send your message to radg@lists.radg.us. To screen out scammers and trolls, your first post must go through the moderator and be approved, which may take hours or even days. Afterwards, your own posts should come back to you in a few minutes.
You can download a PDF with more extensive instructions for using the list Here.
Both newly subscribed members and those undecided may wish to read the list moderation policies by clicking on the tab above.
